1. What we collect

  • Account data — your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
  • Product data — the brand, domain, description, prompts and competitors you configure; AI-engine answers and citation results we gather about them; drafts and actions.
  • Billing data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we store your subscription status and plan.
  • Usage basics — standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) kept for security and debugging.

2. The AI Traffic snippet — what it never collects

If you install our optional fl.js snippet on your own site, it counts visits that arrive from AI assistants and conversions you explicitly tag. It sets no cookies, collects no personal dataabout your visitors, does no fingerprinting, and records nothing for visitors who didn't arrive from an AI assistant. Events contain only: source (e.g. "chatgpt"), page path, and a timestamp. You are responsible for disclosing analytics use to your own visitors where required.

3. How we use data

To operate the Service (tracking runs, drafts, attribution), to send transactional email (login codes, billing) and the weekly digest (which you can switch off; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link), and to protect the Service (rate limits, abuse prevention). We do not sell personal data, run ads, or use third-party ad trackers. Our only cookie is the session cookie that keeps you signed in.

4. Who processes data for us

  • Hetzner (Germany/USA) — hosting and databases.
  • Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
  • Resend — email delivery.
  • OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Anthropic — we send your prompts and brand description to AI engines to measure citations; we don't send your account email or your visitors' data.

5. Retention and deletion

Product data is kept while your account is active. Deleting a project removes its data; to delete your entire account and its data, email hello@famelark.com and we will complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Write to hello@famelark.com — we answer every request. The Service is not directed at children under 16.

7. Changes

We'll announce material changes to this policy by email or in-product before they take effect.
